Timber Cruising

Calculate the ready commercial value of your timber by commissioning a professional timber cruise. Mountain Works can work with your forester or conduct cruises independently. Timber value is documented using standard methods and the findings reported by species, grade and potential market value. Market trends and harvesting costs are factored to produce an accurate assessment of the client’s holdings.

Rates: $10-15 per acre depending on terrain, access, and size of tract.

• Special fees apply for tracts under 20 acres.
